I'm am not sure how safe this is. I've read of others doing this. Right now my settings are 175x10.5 with ram settings 8 4 4 3. I would like to get my ram at 7 3 3 2.5. It wont post with those settings right now. I have 2x 256mb Corsair XMS 2700.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I run mine, pc3200 XMS, at 2.85 volts and 2 2-2-5-2 and @ 152 FSB(KT266a) most of the time. I ran my old generic, Samsung chipped PC2700 @ 2.85 volts @ 151 FSB (KT266a) for more than a year. You may or may not have heat issues, depending on you case flow. Raise it step by step, and all should be A.O.K.

I won't personally go more than 2.8v. I've raised it till 2.85v before and it did not get me far.

yeah, I found that my Samsung needs a little extra juice (only up to 2.6V) to run nicely at more aggressive timings. I have the feeling that a lot of RAM is that way.
