Increased Hard Drive Noise

I've had an IBM 60GXP in a computer I built for about 3 months and the noise of the drive spinning has recently increased and started making a very soft buzzing. I'm afraid that this drive may be another that will soon die. 🙁 I want to know what you guys think about this and what I should do.

Thanks

Buy a different brand drive and migrate your data off that IBM before it goes bad. Keep it as storage til it dies, then RMA it.... or just sell it.

This is my second install of Windows 98, my first one seemed to get corrupted for no reason, think it could be bad sectors on the drive causing this? Time to run Spin-Rite i guess.
