Hi All,

After increasing the front side bus on an AMD Anthlon64 3500+.....

I suddenly dont have video feed.. Everything else seems to be fine!

I really have no idea where to start here for troubleshooting/solving the problem

The only bios setting I changed is FSB... any ideas on what I should try???

Im really in a pickle here, any help is appreciated!!

Thanks!

There should be a BIOS reset button or jumper on the motherboard. Check the manual or the manufacturers website.

Apparently it is not.... The problem is that I can not access my bios to put my settings back to stable... Hence the neccessity if a bios reset.

I hope I can find that button... Cus that battery will not come out for anything

so this isnt your computer? in your sig you have a Q9550...

did you do this for a friend? what board does the other computer have?

another grim possibility is that you've somehow burnt the vga card and it doesnt output to the screen anymore.

Metal Posts with a plastic Bridge. Read your Manual, it will show you where it is and how to Reset. There might even be some Instructions printed on the Mobo itself, but read the Manual.

If you can't find the jumper. Little metal clip on the side of the battery, push aside should release it.

lost video feed..

i think he means it wont even post... LOL...

Look in your motherboard manual if your lost, if you dont have one, go on a laptop and look it up.

There is a jumper on your board that says CMOS Reset. Or CMOS.

That is your bios reset.

You need to reset your bios, because your system is not booting up on a failed overclock.

Also b4 anyone learns to overclock, you should learn where your CMOS reset is first.
