Increase memory bandwidth?

1) Yes, it can be done.

2) Yes, OCing the memory increases the GBs/sec and therefore increases the bandwidth.
 
Yes. Memory bandwidth is a simple calculation of clockspeed [times] bus width. Increase either one and bandwidth goes up.

But the only way you can increase bus width is by having more traces on the card, ie it needs to be a new design. So overclocking is your only way to increase bandwidth.
