Ok...

We just got 17" Dell LCDs at work.

Most of my coworkers are running them at 1024x768 and the look horrible. I showed them how clear mine looked at the native resolution, but they all think that the fonts are too small.

I used the display properties to change this, but it only changes the font size in windows settings.

Is there a way to globally change these font sizes without effecting print layout and such?

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you go into "Advanced" (under Display Properties), you can up the default font size (the first item under Settings/Advanced/General). This changes most programs' menus, etc. (and most web browsers). Programs like Word, though, which use fonts of a specified point size, will not be changed.

Thanks...

That is what I have already done, but it does not change the font size in Outlook. That is what people are complaining about.

They would rather use the monitors at 1024x768.

That's just crazy. :)

Ah, yet another drawback of Outlook. I use Eudora, and the font size increases just fine. :)
