Ironically enough, I used the last of the bread this morning to make my lunch and we have maybe a glass of milk left in the milk jug. Guess I'll be fighting the paranoid folks....

Well, we got ice. Everyone knew it was coming, but people had to go drive around anyway and then crash into things.

I'm personally going to just have another cup of coffee and maybe bust out the LOTR:EE box set I got for christmas.

NuclearNed checking in from the mountains of northeast TN.

There is about a quarter to half an inch of ice covering everything, and it is still coming down. Virtually everything (stores, YMCA, etc.) is closed. The highway department is warning everyone to not leave their house unless absolutely necessary.

I had about 3/16" of ice on my vehicle this morning when I got out of work. I thought I was going to run out of gas before it all got thawed off. Luckily 5 minutes later a coworker with an ice scraper came by, my gerber just wasn't cutting it. Roads weren't too bad. Took awhile to get up to speed with my bald slicks of the back end.
