I sold the X2 I got from jpeyton for Duvie to him this afternoon. If you want to see REAL OC action on an X2, should be info coming in a few hours....


I can't stand the suspense waiting on the OC guru.....

MSI K8N Neo2 bios (last I heard) 1.9b6 I am still at 1.9b5 and haven't had the time to OC for squat, and I have been running for 3-4 weeks at 2560 and 49c, 1.47v. Took me 30 minutes to get there, and I said "good enough", too busy to fart around.

Edit: I have the same mobo. His X2 I had on an Abit AV8, and I could get 2530. The same mobo, I can only get my 3200+ winchester to 2200 (from 2000) So I am guessing that X2 may be amazing on his Neo2.

thought we just went over this in another thread...just don't respond to him. it will be a quick vacation, perhaps a perma, if he keeps crapping to no-one.
 
So far just messing around...it posted in the bios at 230HTT for 2.53ghz with only 1.36v actual.....


I tested so far 2.42ghz with 1.36v actual...(1.5v set w/ 3.3%)...ran superpi and 1 instance of prime at same time...highest temp I saw was 44c but didn't run it very long....

Dont take me too serious tonight as I have to work tomorrow and cant play long....

Running 2.5ghz at 1.40v actual loads to 1.42v and prime has been running for a few minutes.....I am going to let it run for 30min....I have a superpi 32mb going at same time to 100% load cpu....temps are 48c after about 5min....rpm of fan is at 3200rpm...

OK did 30+ min of superpi 32mb w/ prime95....

actual idle is 1.408-1.424 and loads to 1.424-1.44v....max temp I saw was 48.8c with and idle od 29.8c....

Going to go for 2.55ghz at same vcore...
 
I am using a Venus 12 ThermalTake (nothing to write home to mom about) with a 80mmx80mmx35mm fan running at 3600rpm actual....

2.55ghz is priming and enocidng simultaneously....

I am encoding a 2pass movie that normally takes 4 hours and it is reoprting 2 hours....I am going to love this twice as fast sh^t...
