Wasn't so conerned when my Samsung with Samsung browser got hijacked here once a day but now everytime I read a thread the YouTube gift cert pop up takes my browser over and is now happening on each visit. Used to use ad blocker browser but recently has dtopped working on the forums due to overload. Not looki g for a solution just venting on the annoyance...

What blocker do you use? I use Adblock Plus for Samsung browser, and I haven't had any issues with that sort of thing. Before I was using Chrome while on mobile, and browsing the forums was next to impossible without ad hijacks/redirects forcing me to reboot my phone to kill the ad.

While I wish there was a better answer for this problem, it's the best I can offer based on my experience here.

This is getting rediculous!! Multiple times a day on Chrome browser on my S9. Why should I have run an ad block? No other forum I visit has this crap. Can't back out of the full page hijack, I have to reload and hope I dont get hijacked on the reload which lately has been happening a lot.

Same here, this along with the ole ad that doesn't actually scroll, it's been some time since I've used it on mobile.

I'm sure the mods report it to Perch, but it doesn't even fall into the top 100 on their 'things to do' list.

Interesting I've yet to encounter this on Windows or Android despite using Chrome 90% of the time on both platforms.

I'm also using Adblock plus on PC but no stand-alone ad-blocking on phone only Norton mobile security.

This is terrible, almost makes the forums unusable. Browse for 5 min then bam another gift card.

People who don't use ad blockers are considered "low hanging fruit" to the bad guys. That means you're an easy target. Don't be an easy target.
