Best option for a smart TV

  • Wit wifi

  • No wifi but with roku

  • With wifi and buy the roku stick for $50

Can't seem to understand the difference. I needs buy a new tv but am stuck on a model with wifi features as opposed to no wifi but free rolu stick worth 50$ with the set. Both of course are smart TV s what's the difference be tweeting having wifi in TV vs roku. . I want to use netflix as I don't intent to putchase cable or additional box where I have to pay a yearly subscription need mainly for news sports kids entertainment and movies. Help !!totally confused.whats advantage disadvantage of each and what do you prefer.need to buy tele in a day or 2 so please help. Kids going mad without it.

Get the inbuilt wifi, as those TV will have the ability of inbuilt aaps like Netflix Hulu etc and might even have a full blown browser. You can always add Ruku stick or Chromecast later.

If you do not get Wifi, then you might be dependent on Roku stick only for Netflix and hulu and stuff, that too will have to be sent to Ruku stick from you PC or smart device.
