Inappropriate language?

I was amazed this morning to hear the weather guy on NBC Today describe some lingering bad weather as being liek a "bad girlfriend that just won't leave"... (!!)

edit: I'm not suggesting he should be reprimanded or censored. I thought his comments seemed kind of tacky, that's all.

ohoh, there'll be some censure in his near future. Personally, I think it's funny, but in todays culture of intolerance toward anything with the appearance of incorrectness, he's gonna hear about it.

I guess it's not all that offensive. It just sounded a bit weird. I guess I was expecting a more objective language on the news, I suppose.

I was in the bagel shop his morning and an old Stones tune was playing that had the lyrics that said something like "even while she was giving head" "take a walk on the wild side"....

The people in the store were shocked and said the song should be illegal and banned.
