Hey guys, I recently built computer for myself (about a month and a half or two months ago), and it's running smoothly. I rearranged the fans inside to cool better, and have been thinking about tryin to overclock it a bit. However I'm not sure my comp's reportings are accurate, example:
Last night I installed the "Core Center" for my AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor, and it was reporting a CPU temp of 27 degrees C while "Idle" (Running just AIM and a couple small things), then 37-39 when I ran World of Warcraft (With AIM and stuff in the background).
I come home today to find that my sister had reset my comp, and it was waiting at the windows logon screen. I log on, and my comp is now showing temps at about 50'C while idling. Pretty huge difference and I can't tell why it's so much higher. It's been on for a while, but isnt going down.
Any ideas as to the prob? Is there a different program I should use to check on the temp?
Thanks
