I defrag my w2k MFT yesterday and everything was OK until this morning, when I on my PC, w2k gave me this error msg "inaccessible hard driver" something like that. Is it because my ntfs MFT messed up or what? and what can I do now to recover it ?
By the way, is it true that all my settings (for example my creative task bar) will change back to default after I defrag my MTF? I had some of my settings changed back to default (like creative task bar settings).
lastly, is it a must to defrag my ntfs MFT? Thanks
