When I was a hiring manager, I usually just collected up resumes at my leisure. You see, I am in a position of power, therefore those who are applying, are, in general, at my mercy. I should note that I do collect *all* resumes, so yours should get through. This is because (and all hiring managers know this) each resume represents a person who could possibly be the perfect candidate, so it is unwise to ignore one turned in on the very last day. Heh, I remember one guy who actually hand delivered his resume at 1600 on the deadline. His resume was superb, and I hired him on the spot. Had I not accepted his resume, I would have missed out on possibly the greatest torturer in the pacific northwest. His skill is truly something to behold.
