In your opinion, what would you replace if you got the following error message..

I'm tinkering around with an old Dell Precision 360 that I got from work. It works fine, except for one thing.. every time it POSTs, this error message comes up:

Alert! System battery voltage is low.
Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility.

Now.. my question is.. what would you suspect is the culprit? The battery itself, the motherboard, or the power supply? I was thinking that the battery might be on its last leg, but I was hoping someone else has come across an error similar to this with some success in getting the issue resolved. I don't think I have any other batteries to swap in and see.. unless any battery that size would work out fine?

*Edit - answered my own question. It was the battery. Replaced the defective battery with a battery from another Dell motherboard. System POSTs fine now.

Well if it says the battery's low, then that would certainly be the prime suspect. You did the right thing ;)
