So far Amazon Fresh is looking OK (The local Safeway gouges students), but I don't ever buy $100+ in groceries to qualify for free shipping... I can't eat the items that will expire fast enough. Also, another thing is, I live in an apartment. If they leave the groceries outside of my door, it's being left right on the sidewalk. Anyone could steal that shit. :hmm:

I hate the local Safeway, but there's not any viable alternatives in my area. I can't even buy JIF peanut butter because they only sell their 'safeway' brand of peanut butter in larger containers now. bastards...

My sister uses Full Circle for fruits and veggies, instead of Amazon Fresh. That's even with my bro-in-law (her husband) working for Amazon, if that says anything.

Went to Safeway. Jesus, Amazon is pretty bad on pricing too. I was looking on Amazon before and was like, "These prices don't seem great, but I can't recall the specifics of the prices on the items at Safeway either..." Holy fuck, Amazon gouges on some shit. $1.60 for baking powder at Safeway is like $2.50 on Amazon, IIRC. I was like, "Wow... Safeway, not so bad now."

Since you're in Seattle aren't you eligible for free Amazon shipping using that courier service they have?

I don't think so? I thought they charged even if you lived in Seattle. Only free if you order over a certain amount.

It looks like they're killing the service in March. https://tote.amazon.com/AmazonToteLearnMore?refId=
