There are two usb ports on front (right side, you can see in the photo). So, are they usb 1? I'll look on the man. website.

I've used an older version of this, same exact chassis without the front-side USB ports and no duct in the side panel (vents were different also).

The case is cramped to work in but has great airflow. It is REALLY heavy for its size because of the thick metal used. Really nice quality. There is barely enough space for a full-sized ATX power supply. The power supply cannot have an internal fan in-line with the external fan or else you won't be able to install optical drives. IIRC I had to remove the fan grill on an Antec power supply because the bottom-facing fan grill was obstructed by a part of the chassis.

Case doesn't look as sexy as some other designs/brands, but it is built like a tank and I do not regret having bought one.

Thanks Zap, I am concerned with the durability, prob. my main concern along with portability.

Sorry, what do you mean by a psu with an external fan which is in-line with the internal fan? Are you talking about any fan which is located with a certain orientation on the psu? Such as bottom, rear, etc.?

I would like to do as little modding as possible, including to the chassis or the psu.

The case should be very durable. Portable... it is small, but heavy. The system I built using it had all the drive bays loaded - two optical drives, two hard drives and a floppy. Used a heavy Antec TruePower power supply and a Zalman 7000AlCu heatsink. Thing weighed a ton, but was really solid.

As for power supply fan orientation, most "normal" power supplies have fans in the rear. Some power supplies with large 120mm fans have them on the "bottom" (facing down but pulling air up). Some power supplies such as the Antec TruePower have two fans, one at the bottom and one in the "normal" position. There are also those with dual fans that are parallel to each other, one on each side. Take a look at pictures of this Athena Power power supply. Notice that there is a second fan next to where the wiring comes out of the unit? Any power supply with this layout will not fit in this case - if you wish to install a CDROM or anything. The case that I got originally came with a "shorty" power supply such as this one or as used in many HP systems. In the one I put together with the Antec power supply I had just over an inch between the power supply and the back of the CDROM drives.
