In which direction does Noctua NH-U12P blow for AM2?

Hello.

I am wondering if Noctua NH-U12P can be installed to blow the air toward the rear fan. For example OCZ Vendetta 2 can only be installed to blow either down- or upwards on AM2 (not on LGA775).

Yes, it can be installed to blow toward the rear...assuming you don't have a motherboard w/elaborate heatsinks.
I have that same unit & had it arranged to blow toward my rear exhaust fan.

I'm pretty sure you can angle it in any direction you want.
