I agree. I find murdering for the scrilla to be an effective way to earn extra income in todays tough economy.

do what your good at. I give tennis lessons for around $15-20 an hour as compared to pro's at country clubs that charge above $45-50 an hour. Easy money and its quick.

You could make $200 cash in one week by attending 2-3 focus groups.

They're usually 1 - 2 hours and pay in CASH, no social security number, no taxes, no checks, cash as in cold hard cash.

Last week I participated in a focus group about pretzel snacks. The focus group had 3 guys including myself and the woman asking the questions. We were asked about brands we're familiar with, what we thought of potential ads, and how we think these products can improve. The focus group was 1 hour, afterwards they handed me an envelope with $60 cash.

interesting... possible scam? $175 looks good

Software development on contract. $30 to $100 an hour, and oddly nobody ever wants to report the expense and have the government take a cut.

If I were in NY and had an Amex Blue cc, I would do that in a heart beat assuming it's legit.

$175 cash to sit around and talk about credit cards? LOL.

Count me in!

RossMAN just helped me find some places where I might be able to get involved with these focus groups.

Cheers RossMAN!

It could be a scam but it is possible.

The best focus group I ever participated in was about laser printers.

$200 cash for 90 minutes of talking about inkjet vs laser printers.

Bartend/wait tables.

I did a paper route for a few years. Hard work, and the hours sucked. But it paid very well and in cash. You can make some VERY good money doing alternate/substitute routes for current paper couriers.

I delivered in a small town of about 6000 people. Did half the town. Through the week I delivered about 180 papers. Saturday was about 210. Sunday was about 250 papers.

I make $60 on Sundays for about 3 hours of work. If I was a substitute carrier, I would have maded $90-$120 on Sundays.

If you're interested in focus groups near you, please list your closest major metroplitan city/state.

E.g. if you live in Carmel, IN you would list Indianapolis, IN

Sit in a controlled environment (window less office with chairs, desks, pens, paper and TV). It's always audio recorded, sometimes there is a one way mirror where the company reps on the other side view the focus group. Sometimes it's video taped as well. In the laser printer focus group they gave us samples of black and white laser printer documents, asked what we liked, etc. Also asked us what brands we're familiar with, etc. Turns out it was Minolta who funded the focus group but we didn't learn this until AFTER the focus group was over.
