In what way AMD is better than Intel?

Dude, do a search. Not trying to flame, but there are plenty of answers already on the site.
This has been discussed more than once in the CPU part of this forum.

Ah, about the 1,000,000th time this has been asked (and answered)

Do a search.

AMD 3200+ will perform better than the 3.2 P4 in games but will fall behind in intensive audio/video encoding and some other high-end applications.

games+some math computations+price

one does more work per clock. clock speed is shoddy for comparing different architectures. now u know.

I think he means how can a 2Ghz CPU beat a 3.2GHz CPU. Here it is.

An athlon64 can process 9 instructions per cycle. So, in one second, a 2GHz A64 can process (2,000,000 x 9 = 18,000,000) instructions.
A pentium4 only does 6 instructions per cycle. So a 3.2Ghz P4 can do (3,200,000 x 6 = 19,200,000) instructions.

And 18 billion and 19.2 billion are so close that other factors will make more of a difference that raw computing speeds.

Does that clear things up a bit?...

Here's an analogy for you:

A Pentium-4 and an Athlon go out for a walk.
The Pentium walks very very fast, but takes small steps.
The Athlon walks slower, but takes larger steps.

Thus, they arrive at the same point at pretty much the same time.

at least I think people find it easier to get a direct answer in forums rather then reading a whole paragraph or article

got it =]
thank u all!

@piroroadkill
I never had a PC with AMD on it. so i dont know alot about them i never even considred to buy one...if il never ask how will i know =

PS sry if i spelled anything wrong.

Yeah, i gotta agree there. And I'm not exactly stressed about answering a newbie question. God knows i asked enough as a newb. I still do...

It's a good idea. I finish uni for the semester this week. I might have a go at making a General Hardware FAQ kind of thing then.
