Finished building a new rig with new copy of Win 10. It has not been on the internet yet. Thus, Win 10 has not downloaded 'The appropriate drivers from Microsoft. I want to ONLY INSTALL the manufactures drivers straight from the horses mouth. Sound card drivers ONLY from Creative, GeForce drivers ONLY from NVidia, etc, etc. Questions:
1. I have read you can block MS auto driver installs. Have you been able to do this successfully and only install drivers directly from the vendor?
2. Should I disable auto-updates and then install the manufactures drivers? OR first allow MS to install their drivers, disable auto driver update, AND THEN install the manufactures drivers?
