In-wall speakers? recommendations

EXman

I have a Klipsch KH6 fronts but I need everything else... Anyone ever heard of episode speakers? They are not sold in stores just by HT installers.

Will be in a 24x20 room with vaulted ceilings. the rears will be 10' up on wall and angled down somehow for easy installation.

This is for an exsisting home. Like to stay at $150 to 200 not including sub. So very little budget for the surrounds.

Are there in wall subs too?

Everyone seems to like the Monoprice in-wall/ceiling speakers. Check out the 35+ page thread on AVSForum. The only real complaint I've heard is that bass is lacking, which isn't an issue if you have a separate sub. If you don't, you could try boxing around each speaker, if this is new construction or you can remove/repair the drywall.

I dont personally but a buddy used them in his new home he built a couple years back. I believe he is using the ES line for the most part. They sound pretty darn good, better than most of the random crap you can buy at Best Buy. I'm not sure if he's using CS's anywhere or not, possibly for surrounds. If they are anything like the rest of the Dayton's product lines, the Classic lines are usually pretty good themselves (I've heard plenty of custom speaker builds using the Classic drivers with great results, own a pair of bookshelves I made using the classic tweeters which are really nice).

I wouldn't be afraid of the Classics if that's what your budget permits.
