Saying he'll do the opposite of Obama is an improvement for Romney, since usually he says he'll do the opposite of himself.

The thing is he is essentially nominated at this point.
His only remaining competition is a guy who was mathematically eliminated from winning more than a month ago.
Why bother with the extreme right wing rhetoric when it isn't needed?
To me it shows, even more, that he is a political Gumby. Willing and able to shape himself into whatever he needs to to win.

The most amazing part of all this is that Repubs are projecting the situation of middle class & working class people onto business, claiming that Obama's policies "hurt" business, when business in general is doing extremely well. There's just no trickledown in trickledown economics, never was, never will be.

Browse the info here to get a sense of what's really happening wrt business-

So, uhh, if Romney intends to do the opposite of Obama, he'd probably figure out more ways for more americans to make more money, rather than just for those at the top to make more money...

Somehow, I doubt that the Ryan tax & spending plan will accomplish that. Hell, it'll just reinforce what's already happening, the austerity in govt spending that already exists-

Austerity? We already have it, which is why the economy still sucks.
