Having few graphic bugs in TOCA with my R9100, I contacted Codemasters support about that.

I was answered that because my R9100 isn't listed on the game box as supported by the game, TOCA race Driver will never work properly on my system. I asked the support for a patch, and the guy answered me , that such a patch isn't on the way at all.

I have to say that only : Radeon, Radeon 7x00, Radeon 8500, Radeon
9000 et Radeon 9700 are supported by TOCA. The others cards will still bug with this game and Codemasters is full-ok with that.

Your card may not be listed, but only because the card came out after the game was released. IOW, it is supported. Why don't you tell us the problem and see if one of us knows the solution?

9100GPU=8500GPU, your card should work as well as any Radeon 8500.

I think you didn't understand the problem .

But after the noise I made on many forums like this one , here is what one can find on the Codemasters FAQ about TOCA Race driver :

"

> Problem: The cars are missing their wheels and other graphics in the game
> are not displayed correctly. The graphics card is a Radeon 9100
> Solution: The Radeon 9100 is not a card that was tested with the game, nor

the

here is the URL : http://www.codemasters.com/support/faqs.php?gameid=48

So there is a problem, even the R9100 and 8500 are close; but not really : 8500 as an 514c id chipset and 9100 has an 514d. Many games as Sim City 4 in the graphicrules.sgr don't recognize the R9100. In most cases there is no problem, but for TOCA case there is.

Just wait the 3.3 or 3.4 Catalyst to solve it (I hope).

Don't do this, but maybe someone could try flashing a 9100 to an 8500 (change the BIOS) and make the 9100 be an 8500 instead, since it can be done the other way.
I'm not saying you shoul ddo this, but it might be an idea for someone with lots of money/experience to see if it would work, and therefore solve peoples problems?

Maybe...
but you're right I don't want and 'ill wait some new catalysts or a patch for TOCA.

Anyway there's a risk to delete the Radeon 9100 Fullstream capacities

(but off topic)
