in the zone

A rarely used gaming expression in the 90's, "in the zone" was like saying you are in the sweetspot of concentration/work/play. "I haven't died in 45 minutes on this game, I'm in the zone."

It never caught on with the people I knew, we all though it was retarded, but some people used it.

That's NOT a gaming term - it's actually a sports term adapted by the (weak) gamers.

Weak, I say!

If Britney Spears says it, it's not her speaking, but her marketing team. Her feces probably spells out "Pepsi" or "Mabelline" when it settles on the bottom of the bowl. 😛

DAGTA defined "In the zone" correctly. The fact that she said it is inconsequential.
