How is that "WTF!?!"
I assume you've seen the movie, and that is exactly what it's about. White Castle doesn't mean anything to most Britons like it does to us.

I have no idea what "White Castle" means.

"...get the munchies" makes sense.

Marketing people = winnars.

Edit: I am in teh UK.

Hell, it doesn't even mean anything to all the Americans that have never even been to the northeast/eastern midwest.

Yeah, isn't it a ghetto burger joint? We don't have it here.

I'm from the UK and I knew about it, but mainly from the Beastie Boys, and this forum :p (Which is also where I heard about the film in the first place).

But yeah, most people don't have a clue WTF White Castle is, but they do know what "getting the munchies" is.

doesn't mean anything to people in the NE US either, at least central PA anyway. We don't have them here.

We don't have them in GA either... only Krystal. I guess it's more of a Northern US thing. But I knew what they were referring to in the title b/c I wasn't born under a rock - I can understand how someone from the UK wouldn't have a clue.

If you drive through Nashville you'll find them. I don't think you'll ever see them in Chattanooga since that's home of Krystals.

For what it's worth, I thought Krystals was better nowdays, but WC has more options.

We don't have them where I live but I knew what it was... of course they do have the pre-cooked frozen burgers in the frozen food section of your favorite grocer!

Incidentally, Kal Penn (Kumar) was just on SVU. I couldn't buy into the ep as I kept expecting him to say something funny. :p

He was on this season of 24 too. That, along with 'Rise of Taj' and apperances in 'Superman Returns' and 'Epic Movie', and I think it's pretty safe to say he's hit the big time.

White Castle makes the sh!ttiest burgers on earth. They taste like rehydrated hockey pucks and give you the runs for days after you eat there.
