That was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and not until I was older did some of the meaning behind the movie strike me.

Any other HT enthusiasts disappointed in the quality of the DVD? It's not up to par with many other movies in video quality.

Not horrible, but not a great transfer either. Sad for a movie with so many effects.

The little guy wasn't any alien, but a mutant human. Probably twins that didn't seperate or something. Arnold was Quaid, and the mutant was Kuato.

Only DVD that i've seen that was terrible, was My Blue Heaven. Granted it's just a dialog comedy, but jesus... the VHS version is better.
