In the middle of Building

Im in the middle of building and Im not sure what goes in next. So far I have the PSU in, the CD-ROM in, and also the HDD. I havn't plugged any of the power cords into the HDD or CD-ROM yet. So is the motherboard next? Im using mechBgon's guide but having a little trouble following it.
 
make sure u put in thouse stand offs line them up and put it in screw the mobo down but dont ovewr tighten then put in the cpu then the heatsink them memory then pci cards the cables power and stuff
 
My case has a detachable tray so I took that out and installed the MoBo on it, Should I put it back on the case or install anything else on the MoBo before I put it back in?
 
Install the RAM, CPU and CPU Heatsink before you put it back in the case.
