A antec 900 being less noisy then a p180b, thats news to me 😛 You didn't accidentally have your tricools on high all the time in the p180b and have them on low in the antec 900, did you 😛 Or perhaps you switched some parts, like a noisy PSU for a quiet one? No other way a antec 900 is quieter then the p180b, which, if all fans are on low, is one of the most quiet cases out there.

How would the Antec 900 not be as quiet? They all use Tri-Cool fans! That 200mm fan on top is what helps the most on the Antec 900. The P180 also didn't cool as well either. It's just a crappy case in my book. I'd throw the case away but it's being used to store my old server until I can get a new case for it.

Indeed, the p180b has soundmuffling sidepanels and what not, with the mesh grills of the antec 900 things should be a lot louder then the p180b.

omg.. im sorry please do some research.

The Antec 900 has too many open holes. Meaning all that noise gets shot out of it.

They both come with tricools, so obviously the one that has the most sound absorbing matieral will be quieter.

Also the Antec P180 has sound absorbing material on the side pannels. Some parts of it is made of soft plastic to reduce and absorb vibration. The hard drive cage uses rubber gromets. The PSU portion has rubber and also is suspended to recycle the PSU fan as a way to vent and cool the lower portion.

Antec 900 blows compared to a P180 or a 182 if your aircooling for silence.

And thats just the icing on the cake. So do some research b4 you stampeed out like this.

I used to be in the military and Canadians didn't get along with me on Rage3D. Some of them decided to post that...that's why you see George Bush as a "similar adjective". It's just a level of immaturity I expect out of kids online. No big deal.

Back to the subject of your post. I have both cases. Do you want a picture of both side by side? The front vents and filters prevented too much airflow so that is why it didn't cool as well.

No, I didn't notice a big difference in noise at all and I can't stand to hear any noise at all.

Yea but you cannot buy it without the side window. Wish there were a version of the Eclipse that was black and WITHOUT side window.
