Well I would like to replace my TT tsunami. I dont really have a buget becuase I plan to buy this summer but if I pick out what i want now I will know how much to save. I have a few things that I want with this case. 1) bigger then the Tsunami, I like room to work 2) good cooling and airflow 3) I will more then likely be modding part of it in some way. Sense I want some thing bigger, Im guessing I will need a full tower or a big mid tower.

I was looking at the CM stacker, and stacker 830. I havent goten to look too much at Li an-Li cases but do like what they look like. Any comments are greatly appricated.

EDIT****: Think im going with the v1000b
edit: now there is a p180b too

EDIT****: I have decided that it must beVERY quiet. Is the v1000 a decently quiet case, is the right fans are installed? and what about harddrive vibration?

Sounds like the coolermaster stacker is for you, lian li are nice but the coolermaster seems to be more mod friendly imo.

Aerocool Masstige/Coolview are larger than average w/o being monstrous. And the Spiral Galaxies is the least expensive of the cases built on the same design (Enermax CS-718B, Silverstone TJ06, etc.).

I like the Just PC gazelle series (JPC899x series - sort of Mac looking) - but I'm weird like that. They are bigger on the outside than on the inside. Their PSUs aren't that good but should run most systems just fine. If I got one, the PSU would go in the closed for an emergency backup.

The Codegen 9011 is very roomy, inexpensive and just begs for modding...

This new Chenming is nice in a more traditional box: Linkage

And Silverstone has several roomy models if your wallet is phat... ;)

If you would consider buying Tt (or Thermalrock) again, you know they have some monstrous boxes from the Xaser to the Armor and on up to the Tai Chi... Need double-phat wallet for that one...

Thanks for all the comments.
I was looking at The lain-li v1000b and the staker. By it beaing bigger I just would like it longer becuase my gpu ends right where my HDDs do. They are both very elegent but Im open for thoughts.

Thanks for that. THere is nothing wrong with my TT. But the Xaser and Armor just down right HUGE and to much blind for me. im more of a simple one the outside complicated on the inside type of person. The stacker is huge too but its looks are clean. Thats what I liked about it.

The new Eureka is pretty clean for a huge Tt case. But I have a hard time resisting making a play on that name...

About the only thing I can see that wasn't done right on that one is the PSU space - should use interchangeable mounting plates so you could rig a redundant or dualie in there, as there is plenty of room for either, but is now just wasted space.

The CoolerMaster Praetorian looks like it has potential - about 22" deep by 17" high.

that eureka is a ugly mofo...hahaha
The thing abou the praetorian that really discourages me about it, is the dual 80mm exhaust. I like 120's
I have looked at the Mtn mods, I dont have enough room for it and they are REALLY expensive.

On the V1000, Are the HDD cages removable?

You almost never get a mobo drawer AND a 120mm fan. Easily worked around with a fan adapter (on the outside of the case).

Sorry Zepper but Eureka is not a good name for a comp case. Although it could serve the same purpose.

twitchee2, you are a trip. I wish I had your comp money and drive :D

Just buy an Akasa Eclipse 62 for $146. Google reviews, read several. That's my next case.
When I first saw it the price was $116 and should have grabed it then. Search this forum for what two new buyers have to say about it.

HEY!! Did you find Zebo's pics?? What's that about :D

I like the looks of the Eureka as well as its cooling potential. Think of what i can do with those three bottom 5.25" drive bays...Ah yes. 120 mm fans FTW.

Wear good eye protection and have a decent fan blowing on the sink as you cut it with
a very steady hand. Keeping the sink cool will really reduce burring. Scrape/cut the
burring off with a very sharp knife. ;)

Hey!! For a warrenty claim the sink and fan must be returned with the retail chip.
Better give that a thought before cutting the sink, or buy a cheap one off eBay.

I know about the waranty thing....I kinda broke the fan before I knew about that. I dont think im going to lose the cou any time soon. I usuallt keep it at stock and I have found the limits.
As for the HS, im going to try and keep as much of it intacked as possible. Thanks for the tips for the edges

the only thing i can say is that modding the p180 is gonna be a real pain to mod since that thing is 2 layers of steel and some plastic in the middle i think.

stacker without a doubt. Get it off ebay from CM. It's refurbished, but the best $70 (shipped) I have ever spent.
