In the food court by me, the ethnicity of the resteraunt and the workers are not the same.

I work in downtown Chicago, and sometimes I go to get food from the food court in the Citibank building. It's rather odd eating there, because you don't always know what you are going to get. I just had some Popeye's chicken, and when you buy food there, you notice that only indian workers are employed there. I guess it's a franchise or something, and some indian people own that one. There is a Cajun place, which serves bourbon chicken, spicy chicken, etc... Well, asian/oriental people work there and run the place. Not all of the resteraunts are like that, some actually match like the three chinese places, which have asians/oriental working in them...

Really has a lot to do with franchise owners. They do the hiring. Not uncommon for lots of nepotism in the fast food business.

I know, those silly orientals thinking they can run a cajun place. They should leave that up to the colluh'd people!

every tex-mex place in nyc is owned by chinese people, the teriyakii boy is run by mexicans....and the philly cheese steak place is run by middle eastern people...

Yep, and only big, fat, greasy, Italian guys named Luigi should work in pizza places, right?

This way you can say; "Hey! A-Luigi! You mak-a my pizza -areally'a'good'a right?"

Hahahahahhahhahahahhahahahhahahhahaha

In my mall there is a cajun place, a chinese place and a japanese place, all run by Asian people.
Except it's all the same food. Their "Cajun Chicken" tastes remarkably like their "General Tso's Chicken."

What about the Terriyaki Chicken?

Hey, in Texas it doesn't matter what kind of restaurant it is, the workers will be Mexicans.

We have a Chipotle's that seems to employ only people from south of the border... strangely they can't speak english either, and Chipotle's doesn't even have the "chipotle" taste.. oh wait...

Same as the Jambalaya and the Miso Soup! That's the most disturbing part 😉

I came in just to say that very thing about the Cajun place here at the mall.
IMO it's the best place in the food court though. 😀
