Say the ace of spades plus 2 other spades are on the table and two players have 2 spades each..
does it go by whoever player has the higher spade?

please post a website reference in ur responses.

yes. Whoever has the highest spade in their hand wins.

no references but i've always gone by who has the highest down the line...if You have 2S and 3S and other guy has 4S and 5S he wins, but if you had 2S and 6S you win.

Not possible in Texas Hold-em. 5 board cards, 2 hold cards.

If you hold two suited, it requires 3 on the board, so the other guy could only have 4 to a flush.

It still doesn't matter. Whoever holds the highest card in their hand, has the higher flush. If high cards are the same, go to the next card, and repeat until there is a winner. If two people hold the exact same flush in different suits, split the pot.
