Not that I'm even interested, but could you and your buddy not just hit the store up at lunch break everyday? It's just down the street. After fees and hassle I'm not sure it's profitable.

it's one per customer per day, I bought 2 of the 3570k on consecutive days for $189 each. and if you buy complete systems they will sell you 2. I've done that in the past with phenom 1090t.

Pay separately, this works for me.

They did get on my case when a Boy Scout Troop Leader who worked at my store (literally, I looked him up on line) had a bug up his ass after I brought a friend and a relative in on different days to buy combos. They let me buy them but "warned" me. I basically told him to go screw, that I wasn't violating his policy.

It really depends on the store manager or employee you're buying from.

The thing is, I was doing rebuilds for my mom and my friend. I also build a new machine for my wife and myself. That's the part that gets me. "Resellers" get away with it, too. I don't give a rats' ass that they do, but don't deny me when I'm playing by the rules and they (often times) are not.

They are taking a loss on them so they dont want to let many go unless you do a whole build
