In search of cooling fan for 1.4 ghz celeron proc

I'm not sure what "chipset" this is. I dont want to spend alot as the pc doesnt generate much heat but the current fan is making a racket.

Do you know if it's a PIII or P4 based Celeron? I'm guessing it's PIII based, so you can use any Socket 370 or Socket A heatsink.

Any socket 370/A HSF will work for the CPU and the mounting, just make sure whatever you get can physically fit without interfering with capacitors around CPU. My recommendation would be to get whatever inexpensive unit with an 80mm speed/temperature controlled fan. This way you get low cost, low noise plus larger 80mm fans are less likely to die from dust contamination than smaller 50-60mm fans.

Reasonable choices include whichever lowest end Arctic Cooling unit, or the Coolermaster X-Dream II, among others.

It's p3 based, guys this is for an epc, i doubt im gonna locate a product like the x dream II that apparently according to a google search is mostly sold in europe
