Currently I have a Soltek Series SL-75FRN2... I would like to upgrade to a more/better motherboard for easier future usage. Or should i stick with the Soltek?...

Nothing is wrong with it, but i've had it for about a year or so. I'm running 2500+ overclocked to 3200+ @ around 40C.

I have 1gig of Kingston HyperX (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200

with a 9700 video card. Well since my brother's gonna get a PC soon, might as well give him some of my parts, and i'll upgrade my PC. So what'd you think?

I don't do much, just surf webs, play games (mostly cs cuz other games out their aren't for my taste) thats about....

I wouldn't mind having my pc go a lil faster ;)

Stick with the soltek. There's no better chipset for socket a cpus. Your next upgrade path may be the athlon 64 socket 754. A cpu motherboard combo starts at about $300.

Given what you do and play, your machine is already more than fast enough. If you don't have an 8mb cache drive then that's about all I'd recommend.

I was in the same boat as you, and I had the exact same hardware (except my hyper-x is 3500) :) but I decided to stick with the Soltek cause it kicks ass.. very reliable stable board that doesn't owe me anything.... until 939's become less money, or I break down and buy an A64, I am keeping this beast. my barton 2500+ won't do 3200 fully stable, but I blame the CPU on that one :) fantastic board, keep it and wait for Soltek to release an NF3 250 or K8T800 Pro board!!
