I think it was a combination of several drugs - anti-depressants, meth amphetamines, ect. Not just a single type of drug.

I believe he is right. But I think she had some downers for at night too.


Speaking of the movie... I own it and it's never made sense why the guys went to jail. They came in a hospital because the one guys arm was all maessed up, but I wouldn't think they would be stupid enough to bring heroin in....nor did it seem like they had any left at the time. It really didn't add up.

Rural area. Asshole cops. One guy was black. That was supposed to be why they got 'tossed' in jail. Some type of weird point about hick and racism I guess. The ending was the weakest part of the movie because of that small potion about jail.

While it is very well done, be prepared for one extremely depressing movie. If you ever want to frighten someone away from ever using drugs, Requiem for a Dream is the ticket.

The old lady was taking a bunch of drugs, I believe. Anti-depressants, diet pills, etc, she wanted to look like how she was back in the day. Weird movie...
