A moment of silence on this memorial day for those who bravely gave the ultimate sacrifice for honor, freedom, and their country.

In the last week or so, I have watched the entire Cold War series on VHS, many WW1 shows, Tora!Tora!Tora!, Sooooo many war documenteries(and I mean lots!), McArthur's History most recently...man I cannot even name them all.
I am absolutely humbled by the experiences these soldiers have endured.

I will respect the request for a moment of silence, in remeberance for vets indeed. :(

For my father,

Capt. US Army WWII
Guadacanal

Note, my father is still alive, but I also believe in honoring those who sacrificed and lived as well as those who died in the service of their country.

For The Fallen
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
