Puerto Rico is currently a territory of the United States of America. During a recent referendum election however, majority of Puerto Ricans have voted that Puerto Rico should become a state of the United States, and that too immediately. Both senators, house members, and the Florida government have even shown support for this, as well as a few other Republican senators. In light of that, I just want to know the opinion of the forumers on AT Forums of their views in regards to how this will play out in congress.

A better question is (other than accounting for the will of Puerto Ricans), why shouldn't it?
