Yeah, that's the problem -- they're closed, and I need to know tonight. I was thinking about trying to get the Circuit City lappy instead for 199 + 180 in AOL fees.

Anything you get at Circuit City, especially including AOL, will be worse than anything you get from Dell.

Isn't Dell's customer service supposed to be open 24/7 365 days a year, even on holidays? You should be able to send an e-mail or something, as if it hasn't shipped yet, then they probably won't until friday evening.

Unless you don't have enough money to handle both and then get a refund from Dell, you could just refuse shipment when it showed up as well.

Eh, it's a Toshiba with basically the same specs 'cept for being lighter, $65 cheaper, and MIR-free with a bigger/better(?) display, twice the memory, and bigger HD. The downside is, obviously, waiting in the cold and the warranty is 1 year vs. 2. EDIT: Battery life is also worse on the Toshiba.
