It can work the other way too, I'm 40 ish and my girlfriend is 21.

Lucky bloody you! :D

There is always a price to pay. We are viewed by her family, friends, my family and not to mention the town we live in, as something of an oddity. :frown:

I hear that, same as you almost except ages reversed.

Fortunately we decided early to just tell everyone that she's 25, cause imo I don't care what my family thinks.

We're happy and that's all that should matter. My mom is the only one who knows the real deal, I couldn't lie to her.

On the other hand, her family is very supportive.

Well my nemisis is her mother, she absloutely hates me. She has never even spoken with me. I look 35 or less since I'm a gym rat. But we still get the "look" when we enter a club or restaurant. All her friends and sisters have spilled the beans on my age so everyone knows now. I'm considering breaking things off, but I've never felt so comfortable with someone. And she is so freaking hot I can't believe that she wants me and all the problems that our relationship causes. :(

We had problems at first. After awhile my mom started to just accept the fact I am happy.

I don't know what to tell you but somewhere along the way her and I decided, that if we're both happy, why should we give up to make other people happy. We need give ourselves happiness sometimes eh, or what's the point in living at all.

You sure you get the look?

When wife and I go out people really never look at us. Sometimes male waiters etc wink at me, the "wtg man!" wink.

She's pretty good looking, and I would honestly say looks 10+ years younger. People with riced out cars sometimes pull up along her and try to hit on her. (ie 16 year olds) :|

I get the "look" mainly from older women who obviously don't approve. From the guys I get the "you lucky sob" look along with a smile.
The younger guys are always hitting on my girl but I've learned to take that in stride and as a complement. We live in a smaller town (Katy, TX) and I'm rather well known here by most people in town, well at least in the circles I run in.

Ha Ha Ha.........no, but I have thought about it. We have a local news commentator (Marvin Zindler- Best Little Whore House fame) who would not approve and shut me down. :D
