In Phoenix alone for the weekend.

I'm out here for work and I have the whole weekend to myself. I will be bored out of my mind unless I find something to do. I don't know anyone out here ( the closest person is 5 hours away in Las Vegas, and I was out there last weekend).

Suggestions?

There's south mountain. You can basically see the whole city if there isn't too much smog. I suppose it depends on what part of the city you're in. Are you Central, North, South, East, West?

I thought Phoenix was great when I visited...how old are you, what're you into? Depending on your answers, I'd suggest anything from the nightlife to visiting Taliesin West.

Get out of Suprise. Head down Grand Ave. (SE) until you hit Bell RD. Go past the 101, take the 1st right, hit McDuffy's. It's a sports bar but it's pretty decent if that's your thing. There's also The Fox & Hound Across the street.

If you're into a different scene then you might have to head over to Scottsdale. You're on your own after that.

If you're a redneck, there's some monster truck thing happening downtown.

Oh yeah, find a Circle K convenience store. Look by the door for a New Times magazine. They're free & the have all the club's listed in there.

I recommend China Village on Indian School close to the East side (16th street?). I also recommend Hamburger Mary's on 7th street and Camelback. I think that bar/restaurant would be perfect for you!

Sweet, I'm on Bell right now, about 1 mile east of Grade Ave. I think I went to McDuffy's last time I was down here, but it was a weekday. I might head out there.

Hmm, I've heard Hamburger Mary's is a gay bar ( my boss and a few other guys went into there by accident in Las Vegas ). Just exactly what are you trying to say?
