Someone I know want to upgrade his motherboard (Asus TXP-4) to a K6-III 400Mhz processor. Is this even possible. I did some research and found it can take a K6-2/333. And the board can be set to 2.0Vcore with a 5.0 multiplier.
Is there any way to set the multiplier to 6.0? The board also supports 75/83 Mhz bus speeds according to the manual. Asus never reponded to my questions.
If nothing else, this should test some people's knowledge.
