Just as the summary says. I've dried the Samsung Eternity out for 48 hours, put the battery in it and the device turns on, but stays at the AT&T screen forever. So I took the battery out and let it dry for another couple of days in rice. Did the same thing. So now I have a really nice phone that I absolutely love as nothing more than a paperweight. The battery is fine but the phone has a red band where there should be a white band. Are there places where I could take my phone to have it fixed? Or should I suck up the $400 it's going to cost to replace it? Or can I get a refirbed iPhone for $200 from AT&T? I'd not like to go that route as I hate paying $70/month for a cell phone. All I had on my Eternity was the $15 data plan + $5 200 txt messages/month plan and that was plenty for me.
No I didn't get the product replacement plan.
Yes I'm an idiot for not getting it.
