In need of a full tower case need some help deciding please!

So I just got my hands on an EVGA x58 3-way sli classified motherboard and a 3rd 5850 to say the least it does not exactly fit in my Silverstone FT01 chassis.
It does but its an extremely tight fit and I only have access to 3 of my sata ports. And once I added the 3rd gpu ive started to get a little concerned about their temperature. So I think its come time to upgrade to a full tower case.

For now I am sticking with air cooling and noise level is meaningless to me. Cable management must look slick and I prefer to have a nice side window so I can see all my hardware. As of now I am seriously considering the Corsair 800d but I am a little concerned about what kind of temps I will be getting as I would like something I can have a few deltas pouring fresh cool air directly on my gpu's and that does not seem doable with that case. I was also considering the Antec 1200 but cable management does not look as good as in the Corsair but I do like the ability to add so many front intake fans. So I ask does anyone have any other suggestions or input about the 2 I listed?! Price is not a huge concern but I really dont want to spend any more than $300.

Thanks

I wouldn't go with the 800D if you're air-cooling, especially with three double slotted video cards. Just look at it, the only cool air coming in is from the bottom, from one little fan, and some of it is taken by the side fan blowing on your hot-swap drives (if you're even using the slots) because of the fact that there are no vents on the door right behind it; not to mention that the way the air moves, bottom to top, makes it a slight problem with big-ish video cards and such because they'd be blocking quite a bit of the air being pushed up, like putting your hand in front of a fan you know? And even if I'm completely wrong about all of this, I just don't think you're going to get enough air moving in that case to support 3 large video cards sandwiched together.

And it's not like it has tons of vents for the exhaust fans at the top to pull air from, thing is sealed shut, so all they'd be doing is taking the hot air from the case, but where is the cool air coming in from? Where are the cards supposed to get the cool air for their fans from?

And I've heard some stories and reviews that confirm my concerns about it.

But don't take what I say completely to heart, I'm just making assumptions based on what I see, and logic, maybe someone else who knows more than I do has plenty of good to say about it, though I'd ask for temp comparisons before believing them. Google some sites, http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/ for instance, does temp benchmarks on some cases. There's a mysterious lack of a review for the 800D though, just an intro.

I just don't want the hype for the 800D to blind you into buying it without doing the research, like it almost did for me (god damn is it pretty).

Don't know much about the 1200 though.

As far as windows, I say you shouldn't let that affect your choice, if only because for most cases you can buy a door with a window if it doesn't come standard with one, for maybe $20-$30 or so.

A case you should definitely check out is the HAF 932:

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2008/10/16/cooler-master-haf-932/4

Apparently (if that site and their benchmarks are to be believed), it air cools like a champ.

Here it pops in a more recent comparison for a review of the 922:

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2009/06/03/cooler-master-haf-922-review/4

So yeah, cheap, cools well, only reason I didn't go with it is because I don't like how it looks, I prefer a more clean and sharp look, and I hate sidefans, but if you're considering the 1200 then I'm assuming you don't care about that.

I don't know if the 1200 is better or worse than the 932 as far as cooling, you'll have to google some benchmarks or something, but there you go.

Another vote for the HAF 932 here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119160 if noise isn't a concern for you. It's relatively inexpensive but very well made and does a great job with cooling. It's also wide enough to fit a tall HSF like the V8 unlike many other full tower cases. I also have a long PSU mounted in the top position with no issue despite many reviews mentioning it as a potential problem.

The Red LED is a little much and with the amount of air that goes through the case it picks up dust like crazy. Despite that, it's the best case I've owned.

Thank you for all the replies!

ChorniyVolk the issues you listed about the 800d are exactly the concerns I was having. I love the looks and cable management features but the air flow just does not look that great. I do have one of the Scythe Bay Kama's I could use to mount a 190 cfm Delta as a front intake fan but with how large the case is I dont know if it would be enough.

As for the HAF I really do not like the look. And it appears as if dust might become an issue as there dont seem to be filters on any of the fans.
