In need of a build asap

Time to do this the correct way and get this thing built.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
basic use web, photoshop, light to medium gaming,

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
$500-$600 closer to the $500 range would be best

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
US Newegg, amazon, or wherever has the cheapest price

5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
would like to go intel

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

Powercolor 7850, psu, seagate ssd, case, thats pretty much it

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
default settings

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
Ibeelive its 1080p

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.

2 weeks

dont need any software.

thanks for your suggestions.

If you intend to use all those parts, start by taking [thread=2192841]Mfenn's build[/thread], removing the GPU, PSU, SSD, and case, and you get a $492 build.

You can do better than that, though. You don't want to overclock, so swap out the 4670k for a Xeon E3-1230 V3 for $10 more. If you need to reduce the price from there, you can swap the Z87 mobo for a B85 for about $25 less. Then, I'd suggest swapping the 8GB RAM for 16GB for ~$60 more. That puts you at ~$535.

Actually, I think that leaves only Mfenn's HDD and DVD drives.

Edit: Let me clean that up:
CPU: Xeon E3-1230 V3 $250
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H $76 with shipping
RAM: Team Dark Series 16GB DDR3-1600 $130
HDD : WD Blue 1TB $60
DVD : LITE-ON $19
Total: $535

But note that a 7850 isn't the fastest GPU around.

Feel free to toss in an aftermarket CPU HSF if the stock cooler's noise bothers you. Newegg has the CM EVO for $30
