It tastes fresh, but it lacks in flavor. I grew up here and visited the original site long ago when they only had one place, but it hasn't gotten any better.

I want someone to tell me what is so great about their burgers. I'll bet you can't, because they aren't special, they're just another patty of ground beef put on a bun and without the special sauce.

As for their fries, if you let them sit for more than two minutes they are just limp greasy potatoes. I don't care how much you like fries, limp greasy potatoes are not appealing.

Their shakes are great, but too small and far too expensive. When I order a shake I want something substantial, not a little cup of froth.

In-N-Out sucks compared to the other chain burger joints.

As a connoisseur of burgers, I volunteer to have someone pay for my flight out and back, and travel expenses, and I will do a full write-up on the burger.

I want In-n-Out now. Best burger I ever had was in Sacramento at a little place called The Squeeze Inn.

In and out is a bit cheaper I think...

that said I went to one in AZ twice, both time the line was out the door and I waited 5mins+ before bailing.

Went to a Five Guys today and it was nice and tasty...a little small so next time I will order two patties.

I was just told here in the forums that there's a 5 Guys here in LA area so I'm going to visit this weekend and see how it is. I always love finding a new good burger joint and hope this one lives upto the hype.

I agree with OP. In and out was just meh to me. I really don't know why so many people love them. I thought Jack-in-the-box was way better. But Im from New England where our fast food burger place selection sucks, so I dont have a lot to compare them to.

Because it isn't nationwide. It's the ATOT way.

Back Yard Burger is my favorite burger place of all that I've been to, and I'm a guy who eats burgers everywhere I go.

Fuddrucker burgers are great too, very consistent wherever you go.

In-N-Out is ok, better than places like McDonald's and Burger King, but it doesn't touch Backyard Burger or a nice Fuddruckers burger imo.

I hated Fuddruckers and for the price would definitely prefer INO

Man, i LOVE in & out.

The only reason I have for you is that it tastes good to me. And I think that's the only reason that matters. They must be doing something right, because whenever a new one opens here in the Bay Area, it's always crowded.
