- if you bought this, chances are you like xbox360 but also big on saving money, here are a few things to know (info collected from sites such as SD and CAG)
- Burnout Revenge, The Outfit, Full Auto, Ridge Racer 6, Madden 06, NHL 06, Perfect Dark Zero Limited Edition are on clearance this week at Toys R Us B&M for $39.99
- Play-asia sells Japanese/Asian X360 games for 39.99, they do label their games that are not region-locked. I believe you can play these on XBL with no problems as well, this is a good alternative than paying 60 dollars for the same american version of the game (new games such as Prey, Tomb Raider, LOTR, GRAW, Oblivionare all going for 40 dollars. thank god for the X360's poor performance in Japanese and Asian markets :laugh: )

considering that this deal is publicized on SD, FW, and CAG, not a lot.
if you like taking the risk, you can wait 2-3 months after every reseller who bought this to resell had sold theirs (but before the anticipated price drop before ps3 is released), then ebay it for about 360-380 (overstock has this at $350 with the normal 12% off, if they have it in stock), worst case scenario you'll sell it at your cost.

i bought this just now for keeps. i may buy a ps3 to ebay though for double the dough, but i've never been waiting on line overnight just for a video game system, considering how much i hate sony for their stupid ps3 publicity stunts, the copycat controller, and their execs crapping from their mouths, and how much i now hate ps3-fanboys (i still love my ps2 tho) this one may be worth it.

thanks for the tip; turns out I'd be paying ~$25 in fees alone so profit would only be $20-30 tops, so I'll pass on this one

There isn't going to be a price drop. Microsoft already said there won't be a drop. Why would they even need one. the ps3 is 499 and 599. the 360 is already priced lower. With many games coming out for both systems, they will sell quite a few during the holidays.

Sure, with volume...but when your talking about 1 maybe 2 360's...it's not worth the time/risk for an extra $40...

I did the same math and decided to pass on this one. The most I could afford right now was 2 of these and making 10-20 bucks on each was just not worth the hassle.

hmm there are 10 left? its not OOS!!! (as of 11:37EDT)
i think i get 312 because it was the 10% coupon in my cookie, and the 12% coupon didn't take effect. so people who get 12% off will have it for $307 dollars.

OOS again. they're in and out. people interested in ths should sign up for the stock notification. you never know they may have another batch in an hour, or a few hours.

when I ordered mine at 10:40am they had 150+ units in stock..it did take a couple tries for me to get the coupon to work.. had to clear cookies and create a new account...

argh.

everytime i've gone to the site, it says it's in stock but when i add it to my cart it says out of stock. In the checkout it says "ONLY 10 LEFT!" and then to the right says "out of stock. Will not appear in order"

I placed an order for it this morning at $312 and then I find a local deal for a system with a 2yr extended warranty oblivion/mlb/fight night/ blazing angels and 2 wireless controllers for $400!!

needless to say I will be picking up that $400 deal at 7:30pm tonight

then I will have an extra new system from overstock... ebay? or be nice and resell to an Anandtecher who missed out?

decisions decisions...
