In Interview: When talking about weaknesses..

Is it ok if I list a weakness that in no way would pertain to the job I am applying for.

Like if I said I have poor writing skills?

Say that your weakness is a poor bench, but that you make up for it on the squat rack.

What is the job BTW?

Say that your weakness is that you are very nervous for the job you are applying for, and also that you are a perfectioninst and you hope that it won't hurt you too much for being one.

Your weaknesses in a job interview?

"I have a tendancy to focus so much time and energy on my work that I need to place limits on myself so that I can be sure to get enough rest and exercise"

Kind of like you say your weakness is being Canadian?

Very nice.

When I was asked this, I answered:

"Sometimes I tend to get so stressed out that I feel like causing major bodily harm to those within my immediate area."

I think those are somewhat... Cheesy you know.

I would rather be honest and just say some weakness.

Its a sales/rep job.

Sales job and you want to be honest!? You are going into the WRONG line of work man....

Trust me,they like "cheesy" and they expect it,what's being measured is your ability to deliver the cheese with skill and pose🙂

They are cheesy but the fact is that's an a-hole question, even though some people do ask it. It's like "What's the best thing you can come up with right now that sounds like a weakness but in fact isn't one?", so people are FORCED to give the response "I'm a perfectionist." or "I get so wrapped up in something that I have a slight trouble focusing on other things."

No, kind of like saying my weakness is that I tend to stalk and then murder people on the internet :Q

I think Geekbabe is right. Feed them the sh*t and watch them eat it right up for a sales job 🙂

Also what about when they ask your greatest accomplishment?

I mean what an open ended question.

I have no idea how to respond.. What are they loooking for?

Luvya?

I'll pick up a 12 pack of Molson for us then...as long as i know you are coming over.

for sales?

Your greatest weakness is your uncanny tendency to lie flawlessly and convincingly. You just can't help yourself.

Then again, there's always: I'm unnaturally turned on by interviewers regardless of gender 😀
