I somehow lost the message!

I have a long list of items in the address bar of IE5,
and I would like to delete some of them - but not all.
I can't find a way to delete them individually.
Is there a way?

Thanks for any help.

There are at least 2 places that you will need to delete the URL from:

1. run regedit and look for
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs (I counted that the last 25 URLs are possiblly stored here)

2. your history
click on history and look for the url in the left frame and delete it (you may have to possibly look several times if the url has been accessed
several times in the past).

3. ..... someone else can fill in 3, 4, ...

Good luck

Thanks f___dude.

Deleting the item from history doesn't delete it from
the address bar. If I clear history in Internet Options
history and the address bar is cleared.

You didn't solve my problem, but you did even better-
you put me on to -freebsdforum!!

My "problem" is really not a problem - I'm just curious.

Thanks again.
