Americans are rude everywhere.

Heck no..
People from california are a lot more nice than the average new yorker.

Almost every store I go to in NYC harasses me to leave once they suspect that I'm not going to buy anything.

all you people that say americans suck, you can lick the sweatfumundamyballs! Im an east coaster... and i can say that no matter where you go, there are rude people. NY is full of different types of people. Upstate people are cool, the people in the city are a bit rude and abrupt. Once you get to know them its all good though. West coasters just generally act cool, but at the same time have different opinions and different ideas about you. That usually causes some abrupt confrontations. Like i say, it depends on where you go. If you asked a state.. that would be a better question.

Fact: Those in the upper Midwest are the most polite.

East Coast: Too neurotic and arrogant.
West Coast: Vulgar, rude, and rebellious.
South: Unsophisticated and primitive.

The upper Midwest brings together all that is admirable. Down to Earth intelligence and modesty mixed with sophistication and wisdom. Warren Buffett being the perfect example of this.

I consider upper Midwest to be Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. Colorado is also admirable, although it's not "midwest."

The rest of the country isn't worth it's weight in paper cups (and many parts of Iowa too for that matter).

pshhhhhh.................. PLEASE, BS!!

I worked at several different places, it depends on the way you grew up~

One thing I noticed, however, is that teen buddies and young adults are idiots, they split their orders when I'm the drive through taking orders, I'm like, are you guys stupid? Why don't you just cover each other and make life easier for the both of us instead of trying to be greedy with every damn penny?

How many Caucasians offer you a glass of water when they let you into their house? How many African Americans promt you how your day was going? Will Asians say they're sorry? Do Hispanics try to tell you good things about yourself, or are they going to try to compete against you? Read this last paragraph one more time, and you will figure out that it doesn't matter because everyone grows up differently.
