I thought that was standard for everyone. Its a natural form for the hand, and natural for typing as well as gaming.

I use the numpad and reprogram allt he keys. A holdover from using the arrow keys with Doom.

wow that's pretty weird. I use the more conventional thumb on spacebar, forefinger on d, middle on w (and s for reverse), ring finger on on a.

8/2/4/6 and always I jump with right mouse, use kp_enter for alt. fire etc..
